From take-off to landing, Air-IQ enables seamless switching between different types of technology, delivering the most suitable, on-demand return throughput capability.
The ISR platform has a global baseline capability upon initial take-off, with enhanced capability when it moves closer to the region of operation, with TDMA technology delivering a committed data rate. You can ramp up that capability via dedicated lease-based SCPC technology to facilitate highly sophisticated ISR on-spot activities.
And when the mission is completed, Air-IQ rolls back to either regional or global packages for the remainder of the non-critical journey.

Thanks to multi-layer connectivity, Air-IQ gives government ISR operators a high level of resilience. Our services provide guaranteed SLAs with unlimited data and connectivity certainty:
- L-MAX: a high-bandwidth managed private leasing solution utilising L-Band for regional operations for even the smallest platforms.
- Air-IQ regional GX service and G2X: allows return links up to 5Mbps on a regional basis. It enables the terminal to seamlessly roam between a higher on mission throughput mission and then back to global connectivity service when off-mission.
- Air-IQ private managed lease: provides return link bandwidth up to 10Mbps and beyond, using either on-net or off-net capacity to deliver an extra layer of connectivity and performance, with G2X Air as a tiered fall back.

Although 3-5Mbps per link for multiple platforms operating in the same region is sufficient for most operations, Air-IQ delivers 10Mbps+ per platform that more sophisticated missions often require.

Our hardware product portfolio not only gives you the flexibility of choosing the airborne terminal that best fits your ISR platform, but also the ease of modem integration when choosing the most suitable SCPC waveform. You can even incorporate your own modem.
Air-IQ offers a highly secure, dual redundant global infrastructure to support end-to-end connectivity. All ISR traffic is routed, switched, managed and protected in a fully closed private network.
Operation and management of Air-IQ services is delivered via a secure control platform. The Air-IQ digital platform is built on the INVISON software that was developed as part of the European Space Agency project.
